 Description

38735/12 AU AA ... Blue Check Hen.

Plus … Bonus Bird … Blue Bar Grizzle Cock … 4246/04 AU BROTZ.

The 38375 hen comes from super 500M-600M breeding. She is linebred to the Brotzler 5198 cock (1st 600M, 2nd 600M – both on the day). More importantly, he has been a super sire of winners from 300M – 600M. The 38375 hen should be an excellent breeder. Mated to the 4246 Grizzle cock (Bonus Bird), this could be the pair that puts you at the top of the race sheet. The 38375 hen is small, strong, compact and buoyant with an orange eye.

BONUS BIRD … We still have several of David Brotzler’s old breeders which we believe will continue to produce good pigeons if properly cared for. In our lofts, for example, BULL 775 (775/95) produced three YBs in 2014 at 19 years of age. The VEGAS HEN (0012/00) produced four nice late hatches in 2014 at 14 years of age. We do not guarantee this bonus bird and it is just that, a bonus bird and we will not replace it. Keep it healthy and it should repay you for your efforts. It will be shipped with the key bird and pedigree will be included. BONUS … 4246/04 AU BROTZ … Blue Bar Grizzle Cock. (We actually show his photo and pedigree ... but he is the Bonus in this pair.) Fertile in 2014. He’s a son of Brotzler’s great VEGAS PAIR winner (1032/02 that was 12th Avg Speed in the 2002 VegasRace.com, winning more than $27,000). Very buoyant with a beautiful pearl eye.

We have provided the following details on the overall family of Brotzler pigeons, which go back to just a few key pigeons. Here is the major documentation we were able to find in the Brotzler records. Our focus here is the key family of BULL 775, a truly great producer of recent top One Loft Race (OLR) pigeons. BULL 775 sired:

4th Avg Sp 2013 Flying Aces OLR

27th Avg Sp 2012 Flying Aces OLR

31st Avg Sp 2012 Flying Aces OLR

5th Avg Sp 2011 Flying Aces OLR

11th Avg Sp 2011 Flying Aces OLR

62nd Avg Sp 2011 Flying Aces OLR

A grandson (11030 – son of WONDER PAIR) sired the 26th Avg Sp 2013 Flying Aces OLR.

A granddaughter (11031 – dau of WONDER PAIR) bred 63rd Avg Sp Sunshine State Intl OLR spring 2014.

A son of BULL 775 (7075) mated to a daughter of BULL 775 (12022) produced the 76th Avg Sp 2013 World Ace Challenge in one of the toughtest series in several years.

David Brotzler passed away on March 14, 2014 … one day short of his 82nd birthday. We sold several of his birds in early 2014. Now that fall has come, we are offering the rest. All the culling is done. These are the best from a loft with 65 years of successful flying in several Minneapolis/St.Paul clubs, as well as his high placings in major one-loft races.

David Brotzler of Minnesota (flying as Brotzler Bros, Indigo Hills Farm, MN Coalition), over the past ten years, has amassed a tremendous record in one-loft and futurity races. His success has been driven by key pigeons such as the BULL 775 (son of 1st National Ace DA BULL 777) and the VEGAS PAIR (a son of BULL 776 … nestmate of 775 … mated to the grizzle VEGAS HEN … 0012/00 – Thomas Peeters family). The following information shows the impact of the BULL pigeons and the VEGAS PAIR on his one-loft race successes.

DA BULL 777 (1st National Ace NL 1991) built the Brotzler One-Loft Success Story

Through a son known as the BULL 775 (775/95 AU GFL … still fertile in 2013 at 18 years),

Their full brother BULLY (790/95 AU GFL … sire of the 812/07 hen),

And their half-sister MISS BULL (344/95 AU GFL … dam of the 204/03 and 284/03 hens).
