TOUGH PIGEONS THAT ARE HARD TO LOOSE. EXCELL 300 MILES AND UP. THEY LIKE THE HARD RACES AND MAKE AN EXCELLENT CROSS. THIS BIRD AS WELL AS ALL BIRDS LISTED IN THIS AUCTION FROM ROGER WERE IN HIS STOCK LOFT.
The listed bird was donated by Roger Harlin DVM. Roger is an active member of the PRO Club of Oklahoma City. The grizzle family was started several years ago and based pretty much on the tough weather birds direct from Germain Imbrecht imported over by Horst Hackemer.who back then had an agreement to purchase youngsters from Germain’s current Champions. Why, because they were beating the tails off the old established families from 300 miles and up. They were really good for the tougher races. Roger has only added two Grizzles to his family of Imbrecht’s since the time he first acquired them years ago. Rogers Janssen’s are mainly from the best of CBS going back to “Jeff”, “Jade”, “Bonte As”, and “Keizer”, all which have proven to beat the best there is year after year.
Roger is a busy man due to his work load and traveling and has at times taken a late round off his best breeders after his bands were depleted. That is the reason for some of the plastic snap markers on some of these birds and Roger is not big on pedigrees unless they were birds he purchased more recently from CBS. However, these are great pigeons that are hard to loose and make excellent crosses as well. This Auction is for a good cause and if you are looking for some great birds to add to your loft then take a close look at these please. These birds represent Roger’s entire breeding stock that he has bred his race team from the last couple years or more. Even the un-banded ones were used as breeders because they were off his best old Stock Birds. If a pedigree is not available we will state that in the post, otherwise you will receive a copy of the parent’s original pedigree or the original in some cases.
During each summer break from school the Eastman Baptist Church of Marietta Oklahoma Takes a group of children of different ages to this wonderful facility. Our Youth are the future of our Great Nation and this type of event is an important building block for the Children.
